Integrating Sustainability into the Classroom

A professional development opportunity around sustainable living education for Nashville public school teachers.

Cohorts of 2-3 teachers per Nashville school suggested

6th Grade Science Preferred

Registration is FULL for 2019 training. Please register for the waiting list.

Included:

  1. Coffee & Lunch

  2. Copy of Sustainable Living Curriculum- Aligned with TN Science Standards

  3. $100 stipend for attendance

  4. PD credit

  5. FREE access to complete the USGBC Green Classroom Professional Certification by August 1st. Normally $45.

  6. FREE one year access to USGBC Learning Lab and directory of local, related educational programs. Normally $40.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

This program is in its second year. Vanderbilt University evaluates the effectiveness of the program lesson materials and training using tools such as surveys and a short interview at the end of the year. We request PD attendees’ participation and feedback on this process.
