Raise Your Hand If You Love Raised Beds!

Thanks Josh Corlew, the Hands On Nashville's Urban Farm team, the onset of spring, and everyone who came out on a sun-filled Saturday to learn how to build raised beds. Josh Corlew is the Project Manager of this incredibly prolific and community-oriented 5-acre farm in South Nashville. Engaging volunteers, interns, and the surrounding community, HON's Urban Farm is brimming with positive growth and opportunity- largely thanks to the energy and leadership of Josh. Step by step, we turned two-by-fours into the beginnings of a vegetable garden and learned best practices for landscape positioning and soil amendments. I think it's safe to say that everyone walked away from this workshop empowered to start building up the soil and bringing life into their own backyards.
