Net Zero Building & Pervious Paving

Ken Shinn from the U.S. Green Building Council, Alan Sparkman from Tennessee Concrete Association, and JP Plumlee from LightWave Solar Electric LLC informed and entertained almost 40 guests at our highly successful workshop last night. TCA hosted the event at its lovely site, complete with fruiting plum trees, pervious concrete demonstrations, and an off grid net zero energy building. TCA also provided beer, wine, minted iced tea, and fresh cookies from Dozen Bakery

Representatives from building companies including Aerial, Bell & Associates Construction, and Miken Development, architecture firms Tuck Hinton Architects PLC, Smith Gee, and Centric, to home energy companies such as E3 Innovate, LLC and many more came to learn about green building. Even Councilman Jason Holleman attended! Thanks to everyone who came out and made this event so fun and successful!
