Andy Sahn of Earthen Homes shared his passion for natural paints to a crowd of captivated beer-lovers at Jackalope this past Sunday. The presentation is part of our ongoing summer "Sustainable Life" series with our long-time partners at Jackalope Brewing Co. Andy Sahn is a skilled natural builder with years of training and experience in the field. In his hands-on DIY natural paint-making presentation, he expressed the ease, affordability, and health and functional benefits of working with natural paints as opposed to traditional chemical-based plant products. Next time you feel like shifting around your interior decor, don't forget to consider all the sustainable, naturally-derived alternatives! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion, Andy, and thanks to Jackalope for hosting yet another engaging presentation.
The next featured "Sustainable Life" series presenter will be Brittney Blackshear of Crepe A Diem. We are excited to hear her story, creating and maintaining a sustainably-minded, community-oriented food truck right here in Nashville (you can find her every week at the Franklin Farmers Market and in Sevier Park from 10 AM-3 PM as part of our ongoing Sunday Fund'ay series).
