Crafty Critter Pouches with Big Brothers Big Sisters

We had a lovely time on September 15th turning reclaimed art supplies into useful and unique purses and pouches during our workshop with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nashville (BBBS).

We let our creative juices flow exploring through the wealth of donated art materials at Turnip Green Creative Reuse. With school just in session, these little bags that our talented buddies made can be used as pencil cases, electronics holders, and coin purses!

Sewing may be a lost art, but it certainly has its place in a sustainable life. Whether you sew to mend clothes and save money, or as a creative outlet- it's a skill worth knowing! So thank you James Greer and BBBS for partnering with us and to Turnip Green for letting us use your space to let all of our crafty dreams come true!
